Power Line came under widespread criticism when contributor "Hindrocket" (actually [[John H. Hinderaker]], an attorney with law firm [[Faegre & Benson]]) suggested that former US President [[Jimmy Carter]] was sympathetic to terrorists. After objections were raised in the media, Hinderaker essentially repeated the statement.

Powerline has also contended that the alleged [[Republican Party (United State)|Republican]] [[talking points]] memorandum in the [[Terri Schiavo]] case may have been faked.

Power Line is part of the [[Northern Alliance Radio Network]], which hosts a weekly radio show of the same name in [[Minnesota]].
