Dopo 5 anni dall'ultimo album, il 6 gennaio 2017, la cantautrice scozzese pubblica il nuovo singolo [[Dream On (Amy Macdonald)|Dream On]] e successivamente l'album intitolato [[Under Stars]] il 17 febbraio. Ottiene un discreto successo venendo premiata con un disco d'Oro. Su YouTube vengono pubblicati i video di Automatic e Down By The Water.
