It does not require manual operator intervention or special configuration servers. Without zeroconf, a network administrator must set up [[network servicesservice]]s, such as [[Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol]] (DHCP) and [[Domain Name System]] (DNS), or configure each computer's network settings manually.
