Undid revision 1172869543 by Squared.Circle.Boxing (talk) very nice but confusion is the name of avoidance here. Echo Arena is incredibly confusing as it is now called M and S Bank arena. Why is the name here not piping straight to the common article name?

Usage: US v UK conventions on how buildings are named must be understood, UK does not use the sponsored names as much as the US does, the US almost exclusively does, the use of sponsored names is confusing to a lot where it is not known by that name for example what the hell is the Phones 4 u Arena?

*If the venue is not known, listing only the city—or at a bare minimum, country—is acceptable.
*If a venue's name has since changed, use the name by which it was known at the time of the fight. There is usually no need to pipe link the current name, as Wikipedia's own [[WP:REDIRECT|redirect]] will usually handle it, or one can be manually created.
*In general, if the article for a venue contains the city or state name in the title, use a pipe link to avoid redundancy: {{xt|<nowiki>[[Connecticut Convention Center|Convention Center]]</nowiki>, Hartford, Connecticut, U.S.}}. The usage of sponsored names must still conform with [[WP:Commonname]], and must not necessarily create confusion amongst readers. If a venue is known by a common name over a sponsored name, use that especially if the page article uses the unsponsored commonname.
**For arenas with the city name forming the first part of the article title, a pipe is not necessary: [[Bolton Arena]] or [[Boston Garden]].
*If possible, avoid describing the venue too broadly, such as a larger casino complex in which an arena is located. If there is an article for an arena within a venue, use that:
