With the increasing need for flexible education, and the trend of increasing adoption of [[MOOC]]s for credit towards a [[college degree]], NPTEL is a game changer. You can go to [https://swayam.gov.in SWAYAM] website to select a course in STEM ___domain and of your choice. The course can be of 4, 8, or 12 weeks of duration. Each week, you get an assignment and in the end you appear for a final [[proctored]] exam. Once you get a passing score in assignments and final proctored exam, you receive NPTEL certificate from your institution and instructor as part of the NPTEL, which credit recommendations.
