WPAR mobility is an extension to WPARs that providesenables the abilitymovement to moveof a running workload from one physical machine to another. BothThis capability applies to both System and Application WPARs can be moved from one machine to another. To continueensure havingcontinued access to the same files before/ and after mobility;, the [[Unix directory structure|filesystems]] of a mobile WPAR must either be stored in a disk or NFS mounted. (bothThese ofstorage whichoptions should be shared and accessible from all the machines where the WPAR is being moved to).
TheThis feature can be helpfulbeneficial in the followingvarious scenarios, including:
