Artix Linux (or simply Artix ) is a rolling-release Linux distribution partially based on Arch, with primary goal to provide init and service management freedom. Artix offers OpenRC, runit, s6 and dinit,. Artix Linux has its own repositories. Due to various differences, naming conventions, package build time and non-systemd packages, it's strongly disencouraged to use Arch repositories. For single, non dependency intertwined packages, git cloning and creating a package from AUR repository is possible. AUR is community driven and not part of Artix project. Users installing packages form this repository are on their own, just like in Arch.
