Listen, I would be delighted to revise my opinion of your behaviour. Which "admins" exactly "supported your actions"? Even the one admin who judged no offence commented you were aggressive sometimes [[User_talk:BozMo#BLP]]. The only other who commented said you "should have known better". On the Reed article itself you have gone head to head with at least five other editors on the wording in an aggressive way. Some of these were 80-20 in your favour some were 50-50. But you were pretty acid with the other (good faith) editors on all of these. Why? I took a bit of time and went through the other stuff you've done (apart from winding up Connolley) and you are often a high quality, thoughtful editor. You even take time out to encourage people. :Thank you for your reply, which I appreciate. On the minor point of fact I meant your (entertaining) comment at the bottom of the section starting "I don't want to interrupt a private kvetchfest..". On the other bit I can understand totally you getting irritated at incivility and reacting strongly: close to the story of my own life (off WP). I also accept your perrogative in providing explanations of your reactions; in the case of Connolley they ring true (he took offensive at a comment you made which I thought was light and elegant not a heavy accusation: albeit once he took offence backing down and apologising rather than aggressive defence might be better). But I wonder also if there is a style thing which makes you appear more aggressive than you are and gets incivility back.
