One of their worst clashes of violence, at a [[Handsworth, West Midlands|Handsworth]] pub after a game against Aston Villa in [[August]] [[2004]], led to the conviction of 23 hooligans at [[Birmingham Crown Court]] on [[5 December]] [[2006]]. 37 Villa hooligans were also convicted. Most of them received prison sentences, while all received banning orders of at least five years.
