=== 2024 user reveals that harassment, and bullying goes on with only the victim being punished ===
In 2024, a user posted to Stack Overflow stating that they were harassed and bullied while trying to get an answer to their question. The user stated that a question was posted about a SQL server type conversion error they were receiving. The user then posted comments made by another user. According to the post, as things progressed they only got worse for the poster, while no action was taken on the person making the comments. The users post was even closed as "Not suitable for this site."
Remember, the poster asked a question about a SQL server type conversion error, something that stack exchange should see as suitable as they claim to be a [[Question-and-answer site|question-and-answer website]] for [[computer programmers]]. Sql is part of that world, so to close this as unsuitable for the site definitely seems, at a minimum, to be in error.
Eventually the posters account was banned, while again, nothing happened to the commentor. The user had to then make a second account to post the question about harassment and bullying. This time the post was simply pleading for justice. It didn't come. The post was closed in less than 15 minutes, again with no action taken against the commentor. You can read the users post here asking if anyone else has had problems with harassment and bullying [https://stackoverflow.com/questions/79142214/why-is-there-no-accountability-on-this-site here.]
