=== iPhone 16 series freeze and restart issues ===
There was a bug on iPhone 16 models Just weeks after it's release, several users have reported random freezes and restarts on their devices, according to Macrumors and other websites and complaints on reddit and apple support communities. According to the posts, the device will suddenly become very slow or completely stop responding and then restart. The issue appears to pop up randomly, there are also reports that the phone can restart even while is on StandBy mode. The issue would be solved in updates but neither iOS 18.0.1 or iOS 18.1 solved the issue. The issue is sporadic for most users. However, Some have reported having crashes happen 10 to 20 times per day. Also some reports stated that doing a fresh install and not reinstalling from an iCloud backup solves the problem. There is a chance this is a fault iCloud rather than the issue with the devices, which would also explain why replacement phones see the same issue. This issue was fixed with the release of iOS 18.1.
