In [[Bahrain]], both the [[Gregorian calendar|Gregorian]] and [[Islamic calendar]]s are used in government transactions. Short dates are written in "Day/month/year" from; when writing in Arabic and English:

* For [[Islamic calendar]]: {{lang|ar|١٠/١/١٤٣٤هجري}}
