The Cangjie input method is commonly said to have gone through five generations (commonly referred to as "versions" in English), each of which is slightly incompatible with the others. Currently, version 3 ({{zhi|c=第三代倉頡}}) is the most common and supported natively by [[Microsoft Windows]].
