Updating this template: Apple won't release iOS 19 anymore, it will be iOS 26
We do not know whether the "name them after the year" rumor is true. Even if it turns out to be true, we do not know whether that means "everytingOS 26" or "everythingOS 2026" or "everythingOS '26" (as they did for iWork) or..., and we won't know until Apple announces something. And mentioning a *specific* release means that the documentation would have to be updated every year. Just say "when a new release is announced at WWDC).
Line 26:
References should cite first-party Apple.com web pages (found at [https://support.apple.com/en-us/121161 support.apple.com/en-us/121161] and [https://support.apple.com/100100 support.apple.com/100100]).

When transitioning to a new major release (iei.e., when Applea releasesnew iOSrelease 26is announced at [[WWDC]]), create the new template for any models stuck on the older version first (in this case, {{tl|Current iOS 18}}), and apply that to all relevant articles {{em|before}} updating this template for the newer release.
