:I worked at a company that sold a product with a C interpreter. C is typically compiled yes. But it doesn't have to be. In fact, any language can be either compiled or interpreted. IOW, there is no such thing as a compiled language or interpreted language. There are languages and there are compilers and interpreters that accept input in some language.
