Ndokwa nation origin too complex to describe it origin but certainly they are not Igbo as the Igbos want to claim it. They a minority groups that is existing in Delta State South-South Nigeria. Ndokwa people are unique ethics group having a different cultures from Igbo, in that regard the federal government of Nigeria recognise this and they approve Ukwuani as a language different from Igbo language. In Nigeria, it not possible for one tribe to have two different approved language.
The Igbos should stop laying claim to Ukwuani people. If Aniama State is created it will be the largest ethics group in Anioma State. Ndokwa local government and Ukwuani local government speak Ukwuani language even if other local government will be carved out to join Ukwuani people, these Local government will be minor, I have never seen were minor make a decision for majority.
We want Anioma State but it should remain in South South. Ukwuani people are spread across some South South in Nigeria.
The Ndoni in River State are Ukwuani people some part of Aniocha South local government in Delta Stateare Ukwuani people.
