::[[WT:DYK]] should really come up with a formal criteria/guidelines for granting the right and aim for a amendment to [[WP:TPE]]. The [[WP:TPE]] criteria and this process were never meant to deal with these kinds of requests (primarily because the folks who watch this venue are technical admins and have limited interactions with [[WP:DYK]]). See also [[User:Hilst|Hilst]]'s request at [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?oldid=1255747130#User:Hilst] which imo was also misjudged.
