La '''European Community on Computational Methods in Applied Sciences''' ('''ECCOMAS''') is a scientific organization founded in 1993. The mission is to promote the cooperation between universities, research centers, and industries in the field of numerical methods and computer simulations in engineering and applied sciences. The general ECCOMAS Congress happens every 4 years, while thematic conferences follow a two-year cycle (30 thematic conferences in 2023).
