This guideline is meant to reflect consensus about the [[Wikipedia:Notability|notability]] of [[architecture]], based both on the history of architecture and individual notability of buildings and similar structures. The definition of architecture is broad, and is not necessarily limited to structures intended for human habitation; it can also include monuments and large-scale sculptural compositions. Bridges, dams and similar engineering compositions way be included if they include a significant stylistic or aesthetic component. Large-scale urban or landscape compositions may also be included under the umbrella of architecture.
