Nella copertina del nuovo album è raffigurato il teschio dell'[[Oni (folclore)|oni]] [[Ibaraki-dōji|Ibaraki]], che diverrà da quel momento in poi il simbolo principale dei Trivium anche nelle successivi produzioni. Da ''Silence in the Snow'' verranno successivamente estratti i singoli ''Blind Leading the Blind'', ''[[Until the World Goes Cold]]'' e ''Dead and Gone''. Nel giugno 2016 compaiono nella compilation di cover ''Maiden Heaven Volume 2: An All-Star Tribute to Iron Maiden'' con la loro reinterpretazione di ''For the Greater Good of God'' degli [[Iron Maiden]].
