The film is set after the [[rapture]]. The [[mark of the Beast]] is being distributed. Those who refuse to bear the mark are beheaded.

Two non-Christian renegades (played by Downes and White) steal a car from a friend who has also refused to bear the mark. They find out when they arrive at his place that he has chosen to take the mark, and "feels so much happier". The renegade two are caught by police, and taken to prison, where, if after three weeks, if they still refuse the mark, they are beheaded. In the meantime, Tom Newman (played by Morgan), who is also a non-Christian who refuses to bear the mark, is also caught by police. They decide to use him to get close to Christians in the prison so he can get the ___location of and kill Eddie Comen, a Christian who has not been caught.

Tom and the other two renegades meet in prison, and try to escape. This film has many twists and turns, but is not for the squeamish.
