Line 53: Thank you for the response, I now understand the concept of dual-channel operation. However it should be added to the main article for other people's benefit. :Some retail boxed ram, especialy ones from Kingston, sometimes have a "Not Dual-Channel Compatible" warning label on them. I remember occasionally seeing this when I worked for <popular electronics store>. Keep in mind that these usually still work but, as mentioned in this Wiki article, some motherboards may have issues with them.
