The last edit did not promote any specific tool. It merely had the purpose of separating the links to tools which have other Wikipedia articles devoted to them and links to external websites. No Wikipedia site should be misused as a link-farm and links to external websites must only occur within an "External links" section.

Looking at Wikipedia [[WP:NOT#DIR|policies]] (item 3), perhaps it would be best just to remove all references to software from this article. They do not serve to define what EDA is.
