Bayside is located at 28°5'48" North, 97°12'42" West (28.096591, -97.211589)[[Geographic references#1{{GR|¹]]}}.

The racial makeup of the town is 89.44% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 1.94% [[African American (U.S. Census)|African American]], 0.56% [[Native American (U.S. Census)|Native American]], 0.00% [[Asian (U.S. Census)|Asian]], 0.00% [[Pacific Islander (U.S. Census)|Pacific Islander]], 7.50% from [[Race (U.S. Census)|other races]], and 0.56% from two or more races. 27.50% of the population are [[Hispanic (U.S. Census)|Hispanic]] or [[Latino (U.S. Census)|Latino]] of any race.
