If you want the details, then you can find it there. But there is no requirement that there should be a free online source. Actually the methodology for their surveys is not found in the Happy Planet Index<ref>http://www.neweconomics.org/gen/uploads/dl44k145g5scuy453044gqbu11072006194758.pdf</ref>. They simply used that study and extracted data from it.
