Line 1: {{essay}} There are currently over 1000 active separate WikiProjects and subprojects. This is not necessarily a bad thing. Bubonic plague is not necessarily a bad thing either, but that doesn't mean that any of us are likely to rush out there and try to get it. However, like plague, I think that, maybe, just maybe, the time has come to try to perhaps at least somewhat check the situation, before it grows any worse.
