However, Microsoft has released aton [[April 25]], [[2005]] a new 64-bit version of Windows XP for users of the AMD Athlon 64 and [[Opteron]] processors as well as the AMD64|AMD-64-bit Intel [[Pentium 4]] and [[Xeon]] line of processors that contain Intel's EMT64 technology.architecture
