The '''HawaiiHawai‘i Film Office''' is an agency of the state of [[Hawaii|Hawai‘i]] through the Department of Business, Economic Development and Tourism. The agency facilitates in-state film projects for both small and large, both independent and commercial media productions to be released in a variety of means. Each county has a film commission affiliated with the HawaiiHawai‘i Film Office to coordinate relations between media producers and the counties within which they film — Big Island Film Office, Honolulu Film Office, KauaiKaua‘i Film Commission and Maui Film Office. Each film commission is led by a film commissioner, appointed by respective county mayors.
 
The HawaiiHawai‘i Film Office is considered the first point of contact for any media producer hoping to work on film projects in any of the [[Hawaiian Islands]].
