The game is set during the infamous [[Clone Wars]] that was started at the climax of the movie ''[[Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones]]''. In it, the [[video game player|player]] is expected to take command of a [[Clone commando|clone commmando]] team, made up of [[elite]] [[clone troopers]]. These clone troopers have been specially bred at the [[clone]] [[factories]] on [[Kamino]]. The [[commando]] team will travel to various locations in the Star Wars universe, including [[Kashyyyk]] and [[Geonosis]], as well as derelict [[spacecraft]]. The game will beis the first in the [[Star Wars]] universe to feature a [[militaristic]] style, which will setsets a darker tone than other games that are a part of the Star Wars franchise.

In the beginning Delta Squad is deployed from the RAS Prosecutor individually into the front lines of the battle on [[Geonosis]], there Boss (the Player Character) meets up with Scorch, Fixer, and Sev in their initial mission to kill the Geonosian leader Sun Fac. After accomplishing this objective they sabotage the droid factory underneath Sun Fac's headqaurters and then sneak onto a [[CIS]] Core Ship, disabling it and stealing important Launch Codes escaping just as the self destruct counted down to 1 second remaining. The Jedi above took the majority of the glory.

The game will featurefeatures systems that have been featured in other games, including ''[[Halo (video game series)|Halo]]'', ''[[Metroid Prime]]'' and ''[[Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six|Rainbow Six]]''. For example, in the Xbox version, one [[analog stick]] will movemoves the commando, and the other will allowallows him to turn and look around. The [[Head-Up Display|HUD]] in the game will havehas a similar feel to itthat likein Metroid Prime, and the [[squad|squad-based]] order system will beis similar to the Rainbow Six games.
