'''OGSI''' is short for ''Open Grid Services Infrastructure''. As opposed to [[Open_Grid_Services_Architecture]], OGSI takes the statelessness issues (along with others) into account by essentially extending [[Web services]] to accommodate a grid that is both transient and stateful.

OGSI is now obsolete, and has been superceded (in practical terms) by WSRF ([[Web_Services_Resource_FrameworkWeb Services Resource Framework|WSRF]]).
