*Sorry to see you go. Anyway, as detailed at Wikipedia:User page#How do I delete my user and user talk pages?, it will be deleted after I make sure that the page's history does not contain evidence of policy violations that may need to be kept. But remember, others may request undeletion if they feel there was in fact a need to retain the page. Take care. Zzyzx11 (Talk) 23:45, 14 September 2005 (UTC)
**I understand. I don't think there are any violations I just thought it would be good to clean the books. I may come back but it's a real time sink and not that much fun trying to discuss issues with hardliners. No one instance precipitated this feeling but a gradual build up of frustration with some other users who are non communicative. Thanks for the advice David D. (Talk) 00:00, 15 September 2005 (UTC)

I drew that off the top of my head, actually. Seems I was wrong. I have just seen that when e.g. admins have left in a huff and deleted their talk pages they are invariably restored in case they are needed in future (TBSDY just recently, for example). Perhaps that's just admins because their pages are likely to contain useful conversations. I concerns me that the contents of a user talk page could be needed in a future arbitration or something, but I suppose as long as the deleter is sure that that kind of material is not there, then deleting per the page you cited is fine. Sorry. -Splash<small>talk</small> 00:27, 15 September 2005 (UTC)
