SLS was the most popular Linux distribution at the time, but it was considered to be rather buggy by its users. It was soon supercededsuperseded by [[Slackware]] (which started as a cleanup of SLS by [[Patrick Volkerding]]) and [[Yggdrasil Linux]], among others.
