In Germany, there are five seperate breeds of German spitz:
*Wolfsspitz (in English, also Wolfspitz or [[Keeshond]])
*Gross
*Mittel
*Klein
*Zwergspitz ([[Pomeranian_(dog)|Pomeranian]])
Most Kennel clubs recognise only the Klein and Mittel varieties of German Spitz and the Pomeranian and Keeshond as breeds in themself.
