It began in [[1982]], when the class of ’82 made a decision begin a festival that would allow people of various talents from all over the country to meet and partake in competition. Spring Spree consists of cultural activities involving dance, music, art, literary and quizzing activities, as well as performances from professional artists.

The Spring Spree is a student festival, solely conducted by the student community of the college. Spring Spree has its core committee of students who are designated core areas of responsibility, thus making the whole process function specific. The core areas are
