Line 8: Imaging for Windows was designed to reduce the manual entry and re-entry, printing, photocopying, and distribution of paper-based documents common to most day-to-day work. Desktop scanning (using [[TWAIN]] compliant scanners)and OCR ([[Optical Character Recognition]]) replace manual entry; annotation does away with paper memos and stick on notes.
