I saw italian dictionaries ([[wikt:bastardo]], [http://old.demauroparavia.it/12624] and [http://dizionari.corriere.it/dizionario_italiano/B/bastardo.shtml]) I usually read and all of them report the term "bastardo" as a disparaging (dispregiativo) form of "illegitimate son" as the main meaning, with no real difference in the meaning. So I'd like to know your sources. I'm sorry if you were upset by my message, probably a more descriptive text and a better english would have avoided this, as it was not intentional.
