''Bush on the Couch''' is the title of a book by [[psychoanalyst]] [[Justin Frank]]. One of Frank's main concerns of Frank's book is that [[US President|President]] [[George W. Bush]], as an untreated alcoholic, was in constant danger of a relapse. Further, in Frank's opinion, President Bush manifested the symptoms of a [[dry-drunk]], principally [[irritable|irritability]], [[judgemental|judgementalism]] and a rigid, unadaptable world view.

It is believed that Mr. Bush has admitted to sitting and often laying on his couch.

Defenders of President Bush have responded by challenging the value and scientific respectability of analyzing someone without a clinical interview.
