Maybe the stretching tool in Photoshop allows selection of interpolation algorithm. [[Lanczos resampling|Lanczos]] with higher parameter than 3 will produce sharper output. Personally I would say that Edit 5 is much better than Edit 4. But I am not one who is interested in this particular image.
