'''Residual''' is a a [[game engine recreation]] of the [[GrimE|GrimE engine]], a 3D adventure game engine.

Residual is a reimplementation of the part of the [[software]] used to [[interpreter (computing)|interpret]] the [[scripting language]]s by conducting reverse engineering on the original game.

It is also a sister project to [[ScummVM]], the 2D adventure game interpreter and share some of the code with it.
