The Heliospheric current sheet (HCS), is the largest structure in the Solar System , resulting from the influence of the Sun's rotating magnetic field on the plasma in the interplanetary medium (Solar Wind) . The current sheet occurs in Sun's equatorial plane where the Sun's magnetic field changes polarity from plus (north) to minus (south). The thickness of the current sheet is about 10,000km.
