The area between the pencil line and the still currently present vegation, should be colored red; Vegetation (current) should be green.

A final image to make could be an airconditioning system with ground heat pump. The schematic should show a house being cooled by outside air being redirected into the ground (eg filtered; by a pipe) and then blown in via fan into the house. Would be linked to wikipedia's air conditioner page
