Line 33:
"The captive breeding of Burmese Pythons in the Americas has led to some rather serious problems. People who grow tired of their pythons, or whose pythons have grown too large to be kept in their houses, have been known to release their pets into the wild rather than have them re-homed."

Where are your peer reviewed papers that substantiate this claim? DNA population genetics studies of the Burmese Pythons found in the Florida Everglades National Park seem to say otherwise. In fact, no one has ever been convicted, or even charged, with letting a pet Burmese Python loose anywhere near the Florida Everglades National Park, or even anywhere in the U.S., periodfor that matter. Where is your proof?[[Special:Contributions/99.243.213.153|99.243.213.153]] ([[User talk:99.243.213.153|talk]]) 19:02, 9 November 2009 (UTC)
