I am not qualified to add any content regarding this cancer, but I know for certain that PNET can appear as a non-germ cell element in primary testicular germ cell tumors and probably in primary extragonadal germ cell tumors as well. These tumors are best treated surgically, as I do not believe any really good chemotherapy protocols exist.
