Pieter married Louisa Augusta Johanna Maria van Lanschot and had five children. His father, jhr. [[Pieter Leon van Meeuwen]], was chairman of the Senate and his mother was Maria Francisca van Lanschot. The family belonging also to the elite of Baarn, Den Haag and Amsterdam.
