Timeline has somewhat limited unicode support. It uses FreeSans.ttf font, which supports a subset of all the possible glyphs (it supports cyryllicCyrillic alphabetcharacters, east-europeEurope diactrics and kana, for instance, but lacks kanji). No other fonts are available at this time.
