In [[2007]] CeSViMa joined the [[Spanish Supercomputing Network]] and the supercomputer [[Magerit]] was upgraded. The 70% of the supercomputer CPU time is used for RES research while the 30% is used for Madrid research.
 
In May [[2008]], the center migrates all its infraestructureinfrastructure to a new building in the newly created Scientific and Technologic Park of the Technical University of Madrid
({{coord|40|24|15.65|N|03|50|4.75|W|type:edu_scale:2500|display=inline,title}}). The supercomputer is upgraded again and reach 16 TFLOPS. The 60% of the supercomputer CPU time is used for RES researches while the 40% is used for Madrid reserarches.
