'''Netley''', sometimes called '''Netley Abbey''', is a [[village]] on the south coast of [[Hampshire]], in the [[United Kingdom|UK]], situated close to the city of [[Southampton]]. It is flanked on the one side by the ruins of [[Netley Abbey]] and on the other by the [[Royal Victoria Country Park]], which is the site of the old [[Netley Hospital]]; built after the [[Crimean War]], and used extensively from [[1863]] through to [[World War II]].
