Would it be possible to lighten up the entire foreground? If not, I went out to Clay last week and took a picture of another marker that we could work with (in another request, of course). I've evened up the space around the swords, cropped it a bit and kept the background black as I feel this offers the best contrast, I see no reason to make the background of this encyclopedic image a garish colour. However I could invert the colours if you wish, making the background white and swords darker.
