'''ROCK-TIL-YOU-DROP.COM''' was founded in October 2008 by former 67 (Southern Records) singer and guitarist Toby Burton. Having decided to get a new band together at 40 years of age, and wanting members in his own age group, he became frustrated by having to pick through musicians ads largely posted by younger musicians. His solution was to build a website himself aimed exclusively at networking what he called 'mature' musicians, and their bands.

In March 2009, having built a small network of bands in and around London, he put on his first ROCK-TIL-YOU-DROP gig at the Dublin Castle in Camden, London.
