Dialects
I don't know about Objective -C, but I'm pretty sure that C++ cannot be considered as a C dialect. It is another language. Urli mancati 11:28, 30 June 2007 (UTC)

: I think another title that dialects might feel better to all involved. I don't know if dialect is quite right. I think that Java and JavascriptJavaScript also derives from C syntax. They look very similar. However, dialect makes it sound like they might be inter operable. Interestingly, some C code can be compiled as C++. I have no qualms with the current text but I can see how some people would. Bpringlemeir 02:39, 14 October 2007 (UTC)
